ABOUT THE COMPANY
WESTPRO Physiotherapy provides high-end professional services with 1-on-1 treatments that are specifically tailored to your needs. Whether you are interested in injury prevention (pre-habilitation) or injury recovery (rehabilitation), the WESTPRO name stands for reassurance that you are in good hands .
Not only do we treat athletes of all ages and any musculoskeletal conditions and injuries, but unlike traditional clinics, we also advocate for a very proactive approach to physiotherapy. Many of us have repetitive or physically demanding jobs, regardless if that’s sitting at a desk or not, which means our bodies need to be properly equipped to withstand these tasks. Therefore, we work together to break down the demands of your job, to assess your body mechanics and determine if there are imbalances which are putting you at risk for injury, and then treat these. Overall, it becomes a win-win situation where you feel great at work, have less sick days, and are more knowledgable about how to stay healthy.

FRANCIS BOWERS, BAKin MPT
Registered Physiotherapist
Francis loves to help people. He loves to converse, learn, and educate. He loves fitness and is curious about the science of exercise and movement and how it heals. Physiotherapy is a natural career choice for Francis.
Francis provides an active and research-based approach to rehabilitation by promoting tailored exercises that fit your needs but with an understanding that using hands-on skills, like manual therapy, is a beneficial supplement. His active approach was developed by working alongside talented trainers early in his career, and providing care for elite athletes; from CFL players to EuroLeague Professional Basketball players.
Originally from Winnipeg MB and having moved here in 2021, you can find Francis exploring the city searching for new places to eat and new craft beers to drink. If not in the city, he’ll be exploring what nature has to offer: hiking, camping, swimming in the ocean, or snowboarding in the mountains. Whichever the setting, he loves to be surrounded by friends, and he enjoys meeting new people or whoever else will listen to his jokes.
